My husband is part German and he really loved this recipe!!! The only thing I added is a couple drops of vanilla :) We also fill them with his moms cream cheese filling. It's just 1 block of cream cheese, about 2-3 Tablespoons of Lemon juice and about 1 cup of sugar. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix till smooth. The lemon juice breaks down the cream cheese. The sugar is to counteract the sourness of the lemon. Add as much or as little sugar as you like :) Then spread it in the palatschinken, roll it up and enjoy!!! I also add a little bit of whipped topping in mine, Yum!! Oh!! And don't forget the Nutella!! Equally yummy!!
